Accomplished artist and Portsea Islander Pete Codling is looking for your help to produce an exciting new exhibition…

Fresh from the success of being selected to compete for the prestigious National Open Art Competition, Pete from Atelier on Castle Road in Southsea has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for the production of his upcoming ‘Naivety’ exhibition at The North Wall Gallery in Oxford.

The title ‘Naivety’ is a play on the traditional Christmas ‘Nativity’ scene and the collection of 15 large drawings is a provocative take on the way society consumes significant global events and tragedy through modern media reflected in classical religious symbolism…

“The artworks are a mix of traditional, classical, mythological and surreal with a contemporary twist on the traditional Nativity scene”

To help his campaign Pete has offered some really amazing rewards for supporters who pledge funds towards it… From a simple A6 signed Giclee print of one of the drawings folded as a card for just £5, or a limited edition t-shirt for £25,  to the opportunity of receiving a drawing masterclass with Pete himself at his Studio in Castle Road… you can even pledge to purchase one or all of the 15 original large drawings to be exhibited.

The exhibition is in December so don’t delay, pledge your support today and get cool art stuff too by following this link to Pete’s Kickstarter page.
